What does #HealTheVote mean to you?

Talking Point 1/1
Please start with "My name is [first name], from [city/state]. As a crime survivor, voting, to me, means ____________"

For too long, the voices of survivors have been left out of conversations about public safety policies - but crime victims know best what makes our communities safe. This election season, thousands of survivors and allies across the country are uniting to #HealTheVote, filling out their ballots to demand new public safety priorities from their federal, state, and local officials.

We want to hear what voting means to you and who you’re pledging to #HealTheVote for this election season -- it might be yourself, a loved one, or the ancestors that came before you. To spread the word and activate more survivors and partners to get to the polls, your video might be shared on digital media or at virtual events from now to November.

Thank you for speaking out to #HealTheVote! Now, just follow the prompts and it will walk you through the simple recording steps.
